The arts tell the stories of people around the world.
In this course*, you will be introduced to some of the
African-American and Puerto Rican artists
who use the visual arts to tell of the struggles and triumphs of their people.
These artists are painters, sculptors, photographers, and muralists.
Their styles range from cubism to primitivism to expressionism.
For class, download and print the work of each artist
and use those pages for study guides throughout the semester.
